Turn your speaking opportunities into content
I first got into learning about instagram stories from an online coach, Alex Beadon, you may know her? She has always been so clear about what you can achieve if you let your audience know what you’re doing in a creative way. There are some great hints and tips that I’m sure most of us don’t know about hidden away in the depths of the platform. I know how excited I was about learning some top tricks, so I feel that would be a positive talk especially if I could help others transform their business presence on instagram.
Scale-up your business awards success with these social media strategies.
Start connecting with the awards themselves on social, and “stalking” others who’re taking part. Twitter is a great platform for this as you can easily trace connections and then find them on your other social media platforms. I’d suggest opening up a google sheet to add in the handles for each platform so that you’re not continually searching for people - yes, I’ve done that many times and I’ve learnt the hard way - you don’t need to!
How to use social media to enhance your business relationships
Linkedin, particularly, is full of conversations surrounding networking events, so if you didn’t get the opportunity to download the chat box with everyone’s LinkedIn details, take a look at all those who have liked or commented on such a post. Bear in mind that everyone who has interacted with that post (even a simple like) will get a notification when you interact with that post. You can make yourself more visible to more people by reacting AND commenting, which would show up as two separate notifications.
Bringing LinkedIn to life
We all know people buy from people they know, like and trust, so if you can show up on LinkedIn consistently, your ideal client can get to know you from your views and values and see if you’re a match.
Do you do this when you host a facebook live?
Ensuring your facebook lives gains the number of views it deserves. Using facebook events to promote and share that you’re going live in groups and on your timeline. Repurpose your facebook live video for social media posts.
Maximise your events attendance using these simple facebook features
Once you have created your event there is a tab called “Discussion”. This is a fabulous feature and so under-utilised. You have already set your permissions to have external posts approved so you needn't fear “ crazy people comments” and nobody wants those, am I right?! In this section you can start commenting as your personal page and your business page and encourage others to join the conversation. Why not enlist a couple of business friends to get the ball rolling, if that's what it needs? You’ll then find your event popping up on other people's timelines.
Is your business going so well you don't have time to market it?
Those who have been consistent with their marketing despite having a full order book have found the change easier to accommodate.
